The West Ryde Retail and Residential Development is a key building in the West Ryde Urban Village framework fulfilling the City of Ryde’s vision for this precinct. The new Village Square will provide pedestrian access and gathering spaces that link to the West Ryde Community Centre.

The retail component will be occupied by a new 4000sqm Coles Supermarket with 2 levels of basement car parking. Above the supermarket there will be two levels of residential car park and a further 5 levels of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments.

Extensive infrastructure works, including the relocation of Betts Street, new electrical substations, telecommunications re-routing, sewer diversions and stormwater upgrades to improve flooding control have tested the engineering team to its fullest.
